Robert “Bob” F. Cerulli, 80, of Belleville, IL, born November 18, 1935, in Chicago, IL, died Friday, May 13, 2016, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.

Mr. Cerulli worked for the May Department Stores Company for 40 years, and was the assistant treasurer at the time of his retirement.  An avid golfer, he also was a long-time St. Louis Blues fan and held season tickets for 40 years.  His favorite music was anything by Frank Sinatra, and he loved having all of his family gathered for Sunday dinners.  Bob was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and was active on many committees at the church.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. and Lillian, nee Kiss, Cerulli.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth “Betty”, nee Moerchen, Cerulli, whom he married on September 2, 1957;
three daughters, Theresa (Morris) Wallace of Ormond Beach, FL,
Patricia Cerulli of Smithton, IL,
and Kathleen Voelker of Belleville, IL;
four grandchildren, William Brinkman,
Katie Wallace,
Robert Voelker,
and Adam Voelker;
one great-grandson, Avery Michael Brinkman;
and one sister, Kathleen Cerulli.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.

Burial with military honors will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
