Mr. Harrison was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran. His priorities in his life were: God, family, and fishing. Ken was a deacon and was a substitute teacher who taught special needs children on Sundays at his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Virginia, nee Holsomback, Harrison.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean, nee Hetherington, Harrison, whom he married on February 24, 1966;
one daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Schubert of Belleville, IL,
one son, R. Scott Harrison of Belleville, IL;
four grandchildren, Cody Schubert,
Josie Schubert,
Zachary Schubert,
and Dylan Schubert.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, June 9, 2016, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Rick Koonce officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
