Roberta “Bobbie” Marie Cook, nee Lukac, 73, of Swansea, IL, born June 27, 1947, in East St. Louis, IL, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at St. Paul’s Senior Community, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Cook was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame, Belleville, IL. She was a senior technician in the performance reporting group at Stifel Nicolaus Co., for 14 years before retirement. She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and the Ladies of the K of C. Roberta loved to sew and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donald A. Cook, whom she married on September 6, 1975, and who died on January 14, 2013; her parents, Joseph and Marie, nee Kalinowski, Lukac; her twin brother, Robert Lukac; a sister, Judith (James) Duff; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delmar and Mary Cook.

She is survived by two sisters, Carolyn (Gilbert) Sedabres, and Barbara Schwarz; nieces and nephews, Brian (Beth) Sedabres, Tim (Kaitlynn) Sedabres, Brigid Maltagliati, Audra Schwarz, and Jeff (Ann) Schwarz; and great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

The family would like to give sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Saint Louis University Hospital for their compassion and care.

Visitation: Friends may visit 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Masks and social distancing will be observed.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee and Fr. Andrew Knopik concelebrating. Masks and social distancing will be observed.

Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

We knew Bobby and Don through the Knights of Columbus. We had such good times together. I usually at Christmas time send out a new letter in our Christmas card. One year I didn't and Bobby said the she missed the letter because she liked to read on what we did the past year. After that, I made sure she got a letter every year. Bobby is now up in heaven with Don and their dogs. Will miss you Bobby
