Mr. Fahrner was a retired auto mechanic. He enjoyed classic cars and going to concerts. He was also a fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Miami Dolphins football.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, James Fahrner; a brother, Kenneth Fahrner; and a sister, Linda Heise.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Melanie, nee Casillas, Fahrner, whom he married on May 23, 1998;
a daughter, Lindsay Fahrner;
two sons, Kyle and Kenton Bicklein;
his mother, Betty L., nee Hangsleben, Fahrner;
two sisters, Shirley (Jim) Payne and Sandy (Mark) Brown;
nieces and nephews;

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 5, at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Draper officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
Awww Mel, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I will miss Ron and Nancy fussing at each other. I know for sure, that he will always be with you and Lindsey in Spirit. Love you!
