Ronald “Ron” E. Williamson, 64, of Belleville, IL, born May 6, 1959, in Bellville, IL, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Ronald worked as a registered nurse for Touchette Regional Hospital for 29 years, and for Memorial Care Center for 20 years. He was a talented wood worker, loved the outdoors, fishing, and fixing things. Ron loved his family, and his favorite past time was spending time with them. Ron would help anyone who needed it, he had a great since of humor, and was faithful member of First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne H. Williamson.

Surviving are his loving wife, Antoinette “Perky”, nee McGary, Williamson;
three children, Krystal (Kevin) Keeney, Jalissha Day, and Demonte McGary;
two grandchildren, Amyhia McGary and Damoni McGary;
his mother, Virginia D., nee Gregory, Williamson;
four brothers, Don (Brenda) Williamson, Mike Williamson, Greg Williamson, and Tim Williamson;
many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins;
and his fur baby Peaches.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Belleville, IL. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at First Christian Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at First Christian Church, Belleville, IL, with Pastor Doug Hargrave officiating.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
