Ro was employed by Haskell’s in Belleville. She married her husband, Jim, on June 16, 1951 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Belleville. When she started her family, she became a stay-at-home mom and immensely enjoyed raising her three children and attending their many activities.
Ro was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville and was a faithful worshiper at the church. She had many friends and was involved with neighborhood gatherings, card clubs, and couples’ activities with Jim.
Rosalind enjoyed traveling across the country with her family and vacationed extensively with her husband, visiting many countries abroad.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Huling, after nearly 65 years of marriage. He died on May 27, 2016, and their son, Robert “Bob” died in August of 2020 in Baytown, TX. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Arthur W. and Catherine V., nee Mueller, Lorenz, two sisters and their husbands, Ethel (Howard) Corrigan and Alita (Stan) McCarron, and a niece, Maureen.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Jean (Keith) Lee of Branson, MO, and Shelley Kay (Russ) Gilliland of Edwardsville, IL; five grandchildren, Matthew (Mandy) Lee, Erin (Richard) Dalager, Tim (Sara) Lee, Paige Gilliland, and Scott Gilliland; and great-grandchildren, Keller Lee and Hannah Lee.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Belleville, IL. Masks are required.
Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Belleville, IL, with Father Matthew Elie officiating. Masks are required.
Burial of cremains will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
