Mrs. Zellmer was a loving wife and devoted mother. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and was very active in the parish and the grade school when her children attended there.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Elmer H.B. Zellmer, whom she married May 7, 1949, at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Belleville, IL, and who died on October 10, 2009; her parents, George E. and Adelia W., nee Paule, Buchholz; and a brother, John Buchholz.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Earl) Mehrtens of Millstadt, IL, and Sue Paulat of Belleville, IL;
four sons, John (Linda) Zellmer of O’Fallon, MO, Alan (Mandy) Zellmer of Nashville, IN, Kirk (Donna) Zellmer of Rogersville, MO, and Jeff (Robyn) Zellmer of Belleville, IL;
eleven grandchildren, Bryan (Lori) Mehrtens, Michele Mehrtens, Leslie (Coby) Boyd, Doug (Jill) Zellmer, Jason (Heather) Zellmer, Andrea Paulat, and Nicholas, Alexander, Anne (Jared) Wikinson, Catherine, and Zachary Zellmer;
19 great-grandchildren;
5 great-great-grandchildren;
two sisters-in-law, Ruth Kraft of Shiloh, IL, and Alice (Mike) Coon of Belleville, IL;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, October 30, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Standard CDC guidelines, including masks and social distancing will be observed.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, October 30, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Joseph Oganda officiating.
Private burial was held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
