Sandra M. Deckard, 64, of Collinsville, IL, born September 27, 1950, in Belleville, IL, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Relais Bonne Eau Community Hospice Home in Edwardsville, IL.

Miss Deckard retired from the Internal Revenue Service

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Anthony Deckard Sr. and Gloria M., nee Brenner, Deckard.

Surviving are three brothers and a sister, John A. Jr. (Betty) Deckard of Belleville, IL,
Peggy (Ted) Eilerman of Collinsville, IL,
Robert S. (Jacki) Deckard of Blue Grass, IA,
and Tracy S. (Michelle) Deckard of Wentzville, MO;
several nieces and nephews;
and great- nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. Thomas Flach officiating.   Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

Sandy and I worked together at IRS for several years before her retirement. She was one of the few longest friend/co-worker I have worked with. We were friends on Facebook, I thought I would drop her a line saying hello. But only realize this morning, she's gone! I want to send my belated condolence to her family.
