Sarah L. Wagner-Schilling, 49, of Sparta, IL, born May 29, 1966, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, May 23, 2016, at Sparta Regional Hospital, Sparta, IL, as the result of an automobile accident.

Sarah was formerly a cook and office worker at the Kaskaskia Marina and Campground in New Athens, IL.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon K. Wagner, nee Biggs; and a stepson, Brandon Murdock.

Surviving are her husband, Alan Schilling Sr.;
one son, Joshua L. Wagner;
one daughter, Tara E. Athmer (Brad Higginbotham);
her father, Johnny L. Wagner;
seven stepchildren, Catrina Murdock, Michael Murdock,
Hannah Hille, Nicole Harvey,
Tiffany Schilling-Smith,
Grant Schilling and Alan Schilling Jr.;
17 grandchildren;
and many dear friends.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016, at the funeral home.
