Sharon K. Wilson, nee Black, 69, of Belleville, IL, born March 3, 1946, in East St. Louis, IL, died Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Wilson worked in sales for Hairstyling Books of St. Louis and later taught two and three year olds at Cathedral of St. Peter Early Learning Center where she was known as Miss Sharon.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Garland “Bud” and Dolores, nee Burgett, Black.

Surviving are her loving husband of 49 years, Roger L. Wilson, whom she married on September 6, 1965;
two sons, Randy (Wendy) Wilson of Highland, IL,
and Keith (Cindy) Wilson of Belleville, IL
four grandchildren, Destin, Kylie,
Chase,
and Zane Wilson;
and one sister, Barbara (Jerry) Dinges of Belleville, IL.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
