Sheila Hofmeister, nee Huey, 70, of Belleville, IL, born October 12, 1950, in Louisville, KY, died Friday, May 28, 2021, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Hofmeister loved to read, loved to walk, loved to craft, but most of all, she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lillian, nee Herm, Huey.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Hofmeister Jr.;
four children, Carl III (Christy) Hofmeister, Angela (Bill) Summers, Belinda (David) Crawford, and Tricia Hofmeister;
ten grandchildren, Andi Summers, Julia Summers, Austin Huey, Serena Wilkes, Emma Evans, Ellen Evans, Tanner Crawford, Isabella Crawford, Hayleigh Hofmeister, and Zoey Hofmeister;
a great-grandson, Demetric McClain;
four sisters, Linda Freibert, Bonnie Coyle, Denise Poteet, and Diane Huey;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Association. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
