We are very sorry and sad about Shigeko's passing. We are very fortunate to have met her at various deaf events/gatherings and lunches at Hokkaido's. Sytel enjoyed hanging out with her due to both being Asians. God bless her soul and may she rest in peace.

Shigeko will be greatly missed in the Deaf Community. We always enjoyed sharing a Bingo table with her and Larry. Sam's mother was Japanese also and married her American husband in Japan. Shigeko corresponded a few times with Sam's mother in their native language. We will cherish our fond memories of sweet Shigeko. Prayers for comfort and strength to her family.
