Mrs. Hailstone was a loving wife to her husband, James Hailstone. She was also very devoted to her God. Shirley enjoyed doing embroidery, growing flowers, and loved spending time with her grandkids. She was also an animal lover, especially for her cat, Boots, and her two grand dogs, Phoebe and Holly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hailstone; and her parents, Phillip and Viola, nee Etling, Maurer.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna M. Kouao De Blaise, and Debbie Hailstone;
three grandchildren, Christopher L. Pirtle, Scott V. Brotherton Jr., and Jax Kouao De Blaise;
and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Ethan Pirtle

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Robert Stovall officiating. Masks are required.
Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
