I met Mrs. Nold while attending college with Barb. She was a sweet and caring mother. I still use her Gooey Butter Cake recipe. I really liked her husband also. May she Rest in Peace with God's Holy Angels. It is a difficult time for family death during this pandemic. My sympathies to the whole family.

Mary Ann - I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom was gracious enough to keep me updated on your post-high school life whenever I asked about you. It was obvious that she was very proud of you, as she should be. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

To the Nold Family, I just wanted to say what an honor it was to personally take care of Shirley and to get to know each of you. My heart grieves for each of you and yet I know you are all relieved that her suffering is over, and she is with Christ and rejoiceing with her husband and son. Please know that I will always remember her fondly as "my favorite aunt Shirley." God bless.
