Mrs. Schaefer, along with her husband Irvin, were members of the Belleville Exchange Club, the Belleville Sister City Organization, the Belleville/Swansea Moose Lodge 1221; the Millstadt VFW, the Timberlake Association, and POG.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Irvin N. Schaefer; twin sons; her parents, Edwin and Louise, nee Moldestad, Pfannebecker; and a brother, Stanley Pfannebecker.
Shirley chose Valentine’s Day to be reunited with her family in Heaven so that they can be together forever.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday, March 2, 2018, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Dennis Voss and Fr. Ken Schaefer officiating.
Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
