As a customer at Curt Smith Sporting Goods, Steve and I formed a close friendship that lasted over 15 years. I am extremely distraught to hear he lost his battle with cancer. He has been in my thoughts often during his struggle. I will cherish the time we knew each other for years to come. My condolences go out to his family.

Wish to extend our sadness. His great pride in his daughter and our grand daughter Sara Helms. He was so proud of her graduation from college, her work at our local hospital, and goal of a Master’s Degree.

Patrick & Louise O’Brien USAF Retired, Hayden, Idaho, 83835

To Sara, Karen,Patrick, Kacie, Lisa & family-Steven was always patriotic, committed to family & loved life. He loved our baby girl dearly & supported her in her goals & achievements. He was a great dad! His struggle over the past year has been tremendous, & he was taken too young. I know he will be greatly missed, but is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. He has left you with fond memories and his love forever in your heart. May you find peace & comfort as you go forward knowing you have these very precious gifts to reflect on. God Bless each of you. Sincerely & with sympathy, Betty Helms.
