Sylvia worked at her parents’ grocery store in her earlier years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, and she dearly loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Virginia, nee Bonincontri, Perino; her husband of 39 years, Farrol R. Clement, whom she married September 4, 1948, in Belleville, IL, and who died November 28, 1987; and two brothers, Gregory (Dorothy) Perino and Louis (Ginger) Perino.
Surviving are three sons, Terry (Julie) Clement of Belleville, IL,
Gary (Debbie) Clement of Belleville, IL,
and Tim (Maria) Clement of Mascoutah, IL;
six grandchildren, Ryan Clement, Brittany (Ryan) Easter,
Ashley (Russell) Forrest, Drew (Sheri Simmons) Clement,
Jeremy (Kali) Clement, and Kristin (Dan Hackworth) Clement;
and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
