Thomas J. Biekert, 55, of Belleville, IL, born October 30, 1961, in Belleville, IL, died Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Tom was a loving son and brother.  He was a graduate of Belleville East High School and a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Biekert; and a nephew, Craig W. Biekert.

Surviving are his mother, Jean Marie, nee Dulle, Biekert of Belleville, IL;
five brothers, Glenn W. Biekert of New Baden, IL,
Kenneth G. Biekert of Freeburg, IL,
Mark A. (Joan) Biekert of Smithton, IL,
Matthew J. (Denise) Biekert of Shiloh, IL;
William D. Biekert (and special friend, Kathy Brule) of Toledo, OH;
nieces and nephews, Diane (Dave) Kaiser,
Shawn Biekert, Alex Biekert,
Annette (Tony) Middendorf , Abigail Biekert, Andrew Biekert,
and Adam Biekert;
great-nieces, Colae and Kayda Kaiser;
aunts and uncles;
and cousins.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 3:40 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A prayer service will be at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. David Darin officiating.

Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
