Tom was a friendly, loving man who loved life and others. He caused everyone to feel special as a result of being in his presence. I am sad for Ginnie and for Tom's family.

Even though we were not related by blood, Tom Ganey was my "Uncle Tom" just like a lot of you have already stated as well. Uncle Tom had a big heart, a wonderful sense of humor and was a very special person. What made him special was his ability to make those around him feel special too. In a world that has a tendency to push people away, Tom Ganey was a person who brought people together, who welcomed them, who made you feel like a family member and a life long friend. The world lost an amazing man this week but Heaven got a little brighter.

Tom was always so kind to me. He made me feel special. I looked forward to family reunions because I knew he would be there to play volleyball with us. He was a big kid at heart. He will be missed.

Dear family of Tom Ganey, He was our Uncle Tom even though we are in our 70’s too. He was our fun and witty friend with an infectious laugh. We always teased each other that where ever we were, we were always ten minutes away from home. He was such an awesome role model for his niece and nephews and his adopted COBBLESTONE nieces and nephews. We loved him so very much. All of us want to be remembered after we pass and, for sure, Uncle Tommy will be in our minds and hearts for as long as we carry on without him. I am so sad for his family and for a Ginny during this time of mourning. RIP
