Tillie Lucas, nee Bika, 92, of Belleville, IL, born August 27, 1922, in Sharon, PA, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Lucas was a retired secretary.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, George Jacob Lucas, whom she married on July 5, 1947, in Sharon, PA, and who died on December 8, 1986; and her parents, Dan and Marie, nee Mitra, Bika.

Surviving are a daughter and two sons, Paula (Noel) Overton,
Richard Lucas,
and Ron Lucas.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A memorial Mass will be heldat 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.  Tillie’s cremains will be buried at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Sharon, PA.

Paula, I know your loss. I did not know your mom but I know how you loved and cared for her. I am sorry for your loss and know she will be missed every day. John and I know how hard it has been and how this brings such sadness. I will not try to say all the things that are said. I will just say I am here and I understand. Your neighbor and friend.
