Mr. Wittenauer was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeburg, IL. He attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He retired as a Forklift Driver. Mr. Wittenauer was a United States Army veteran.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Clement J. and Clara K., nee Schaefer, Wittenauer; his step-mother, Bernice, nee Hartmann, Wittenauer, a niece, Amber Coller, and a brother-in-law, Morris Coller.
Surviving are his five sisters, Susan (Deacon Thomas) Wilkinson, Cecilia Coller, Anna May (John) Feurer, Rita (Larry) Huch, and Regina (Donald) Dobbs;
many nieces and nephews;
great-nieces and great-nephews;
a step-sister, Janel (Willie) Mayes;
and two step-brothers, Kurt (Doris) Hartmann, Dale (Emily) Hartmann.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, with Fr. Mark Reyling officiating.
Burial with full military honors will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
