Mr. Mueller worked as a pipefitter and was a member of the Steamfitters Local 439 before his retirement. He was a member of the Belle-City Kennel Club, he was an avid trail rider, and loved horses and mules. Tom was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A. Fred and Olivia, nee Henken, Mueller; one brother, Leon Mueller; and two brothers-in-law, Jerome Isaak and Jim Wisdom.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Darlene, nee Becker, Mueller, whom he married on November 14, 1964;
three daughters, Theresa “Terri” (Greg) Bechard of Freeburg, IL,
Catherine “Cathy” (Vince) Lehr of Summerville, SC,
and Stacy (John) Hughes of Freeburg, IL
six grandchildren, Stephanie Bechard, Kelsey Gallion,
Haley Hughes, Johnathan Hughes,
Megan Lehr and Ethan Lehr;
12 brothers and sisters, Phyllis (Raymond) Berkel of Fairview Heights, IL,
