Mrs. Klein worked alongside her husband on their family farm. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, IL. She was a past member of the Floraville Grange.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore Klein; her second husband, Ermin Brinkmann; her parents, Henry and Mary, nee Parker, Birkner, and a son-in-law, Bill Barttelbort, two brothers, Zeno Birkner and Glenn (Mary) Birkner; and a sister, Louise (Walter) Gregson.
Surviving are her son, Raymond F. (Maren) Klein of Smithton, IL;
three daughters, Bonnie (Terry) Uebinger of Edwardsville, IL,
Marilyn (Tom) Barttelbort Davis of Mascoutah, IL,
and Jayne (Rick) Arensmann of Wood River, IL;
five step-children, Sharon (Larry) Barbeau,
Ronald (Susie) Brinkmann,
Raymond (Cindy) Brinkmann,
Sandy (Allan) Lenhardt,
and Richard Brinkmann;
eight grandchildren, Scott (Stacey) Muskopf,
Dana (Raquel) Rife, Joel Rife,
Jennifer (Jeff) Klein-Huber,
Jody (Jamie) Barttelbort Schanz,
Dustin (Ami) Jarman,
and Derek (Susan) Jarman;
12 great-grandchildren, Anna and Lindsey Muskopf,
Haylen and Brady Rife,
Jacob and Jenna Schanz,
Dawson and Delani Jarman,
and Hudson and Scarlet Jarman;
numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren;

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Paderborn, IL, with Fr. Jim Voelker officiating.
Burial will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Paderborn, IL.
