Mr. Mueth was employed in the construction industry before his retirement and a member of the Construction and Laborers Local #459. He was also involved in farming on the family farm. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Paderborn, IL. Victor was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by one son, Wayne E Mueth; his parents, Michael and Martha, nee Neff, Mueth; a sister, Sally Krupp; three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Cletus Mueth; one sister-in-law, Genelle Mueth.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Estelle, nee Kreher, Mueth, whom he married November 26, 1957;
six grandsons, Benjamin (Rebecca) Mueth,
Jonathan (Holly) Mueth,
Tyler Mueth,
Andrew Mueth (fiancé Jenna Voegtle),
William Mueth,
and Dylan Mueth;
two great-grandchildren, Braydon and Bryson Mueth;
one daughter-in-law, Jane M. Mueth of Paderborn, IL, and friend Duane Waeltz;
one sister, Anna (Clyde) Kreher of Hecker, IL;
two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Mueth of St. Louis, MO,
and Joan Mueth of Waterloo, IL;
one brother-in-law, David Krupp of Freeburg, IL;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Paderborn, IL, with Father Jim Voelker, Father Gene Neff, Father Stanley Konieczny and Father Von Deeke concelebrating. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Paderborn, IL.
