Victoria R. Peterman, 79, of Belleville, IL, born May 24, 1942, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Sycamore Village Nursing Home, Swansea, IL.

Mrs. Peterman loved being around horses and going to the racetrack with her husband, Stephen. Most of all she loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Stephen J. Peterman; her parents, Jose and Heginia, nee Aceves, Hernandez; three sisters, Carmen (Paul) Haas, Marie Hecker, and Virginia Vandeloo; and two brothers, Simon (Barb) Hernandez and Luis Hernandez.

Surviving are her two sons, Steve (Mary) Peterman of Florida, and Craig Peterman of Belleville, IL; six grandchildren, Alex (Maura) Peterman, Caeley (Dylan) Stutz, Kinleigh Peterman, Noah Peterman, Jordan (Kurt) Blair, and Mitchell Dennison; two great-grandchildren, Stella Stutz and Isabella Blair; and two brothers-in-law, Don Hecker and Bill Vandeloo.

2 years without you and I still look at this page every week. I miss your smile, laugh, hugs, the bomb food you used to cook us, your love for others, and so much more. Although I know you are by my side all the time, Life just is not the same without you. Please continue to send signs of you Grandma and tell Grandpa to stop trying to prank me. It scares me sometimes even though I know it is just him HAHA. BTW, I got that tattoo finally just for you. The next tattoo will be for Grandpa. I miss and love you so much, until we meet again Grandma.

Steve and Craig sorry for your loss. I remember being with your Dad and Mom when you had horses (Pilot Pace )at Fairmount Park. I will keep both of them in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. You have my sympathy. I remember Vicky from when I was very young and would come to work with my Mom, Dianne at Walker & Williams. Vicky was so nice and I remember she always had candy at her desk. My prayers are with your family.

Peterman family, my mother worked with Vicky at Walker and Williams and recall spending time with Craig when i was a young boy and also going to the horse track. My condolences to Craig and the family.
