Mrs. Verges was a dedicated wife and mother. She belonged to the Belleville Senior Citizens Club and was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
Vickie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Norman H. Verges, whom she married on May 5, 1943, and who died on February 26, 2003; her parents, Walter and Nellie, nee Kirk, Biver; two brothers, Raymond Biver, and Kenneth Biver; one sister, Mary (Wayne) Wysong; and one brother-in-law, Don Scobbie.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Norman) Etling of Shiloh, IL,
and Sheri Verges of Belleville, IL;
three grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, and Nicole Etling;
and one sister, Lorraine Scobbie of Belleville, IL.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
