Print Obituary
Vincent J. Totino, born on March 29, 1935, in Wilkinsburg, PA, passed away on November 10, 2023, at his Belleville, IL residence, surrounded by loved ones. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and commitment.

From delivering newspapers at the age of 8, to working as a stockboy during his teen years, Vincent’s work ethic was unmatched. He served in the United States Air Force at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, IL, from 1956 to 1960, and was a quality foreman at Ford Motor Company for 30 years.

Vincent enjoyed big band music and the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. He cherished his relationships with his family and sent heartfelt cards for a birthday or anniversary to ensure his love reached each family member.

Vincent’s love story with Ivah (nee Adams) Totino spanned over half a century. Their marriage on June 20, 1959, was a testament to everlasting love. Ivah’s passing on March 19, 2010, left a deep void in Vincent’s heart yet their souls remain forever intertwined.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Rose Totino; as well as his siblings, Eugene Totino, Dominic Totino, and Gloria Bucci. He also mourned the loss of many family members including his uncle’s, Vincent, Louis and Joe Fameli; sister- and brother-in-law, Billie Lou and Nathan “Bud” Wilson; niece, Sandra Lawson; nephew, Steven Bucci; and niece-in-law Barbara Sulentic.

Vincent leaves behind a legacy of love for his surviving daughter, Lisa Marie Totino; extended family including two sisters-in-law, Jane Totino and Jane Totino; a brother-in-law, James Bucci; six nephews, Michael (Melody) Bucci, William Sulentic, Joseph Sulentic, Gene Totino, Bobby Totino, John Totino; two nieces, Julia Melchert and Sharon Logue; and many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at  www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral: Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

Burial with military honors will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

I used to see Vince every Sunday at the 7:00 Mass at St. Teresa. He always sat in the first pew of the second section on St. Joseph's side. He was lonely but always talked about his daughter in Chicago. He loved it when she came to visit. May his soul rest in peace.
