Viola Mary Isselhardt, nee Dintelman, 87, of Swansea, IL, born January 29, 1931, in East Alton, IL, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Mercy Rehab & Care Center, Swansea, IL.

Mrs. Isselhardt formerly was a nurse’s aide at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Warren L. Isselhardt, whom she married on November 10, 1949, and who died on September 13, 2005; her parents, Leslie and Viola, nee Huth, Dintelman; two brothers, Fred and Cliff Dintelman; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Dintelman.

Surviving are a son, Warren (Sharon) Isselhardt;
four daughters, Betty (Dennis) Bollmeier, Julie Stephenson, Margaret (Stephen) Rice, and Mary (Dennis) Hummert;
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
and a sister-in-law, Gloria Dintelman.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Private burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

Betty, Julie, Butch, Margie and Mary, May each day that passes bring yet another memory to fill your hearts. Forever Olie had the brightest smile, funny laughter, was the best donut maker and keeper of ferns. My heart warming wishes to you all.

Cousins, Sorry to hear the sad news regarding Aunt Olie, she was a special lady. I'll always remember listing to her stories, her warm beautiful smile and that infectious laugh - it still puts a smile on my face. She's with Uncle Warren now. Miss them both.
