Mrs. Hirshberg was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. She formerly worked at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville and at First National Bank of Belleville. She was also previously employed at state operated schools in Anchorage, AK.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ellis L. Bailey; her parents, John H. and Florence, nee Meier, Mueller; siblings, Marion (Vera) Mueller, Dorothy (George) Ader, Florita Becherer, and Ruth Mary Mueller; and a son-in-law, Larry Mank.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Edward F. Hirshberg, whom she married on August 7, 1965;
one daughter, Barbara F. Mank of Carlyle, IL;
two grandchildren, Deborah (John) McPherson, and Larry (Shelley) Mank;
three great-grandchildren, Abigail McPherson, and Alexis and Colby Mank;
a brother-in-law, Julian Becherer;
a dear friend, Judy Huffman;
numerous nieces and nephews;
great-nieces;
and great-nephews.
