Vonda was a homemaker, as well as a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL. She was an active member of the prayer ministry and enjoyed bible study. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, listening to talking books, music and dancing. Vonda loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lillian Mae, nee Straitt Sanderson; three brothers, Earl, Eugene, and Vernon Lee Sanderson; and four sisters, Florence (Harold) Suck, Hazel (Wesley) Morris, Jessie (Arthur) Jeffers, and Vera (Howard) Heather.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah (Joel) West of Granite City, IL,
and Elaine Boide of Belleville, IL;
three grandchildren, Phillip Boide Jr. of Lebanon IL,
Christopher Boide of Las Vegas, NV,
and Amanda (Steven) Renken of Granite City, IL;
and four great-grandchildren, Lyam Renken, Bailey Renken, Page Wade, and Ryan Boide.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL, with Pastor Brian Downs officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, IL.
I am so sorry that we won’t be able to make it down for the services. Aunt Vonda was always very special to me. I wish I’d let her know that my grandaughters are still getting use out of the Barbie doll clothes that she made for me. They love them as much as I did.
