Wayne worked as a drill press operator for McDonnell Douglas for 37 years, until his retirement. He was a member of International Aerospace and Machinist Local 837. Mr. Kleier loved spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ida, nee Potter, Kleier; and two brothers, Harley and Nathan Kleier.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Ann, nee Lynch, Kleier, whom he married in 1954 in Elk City, OK;
a daughter, Deborah (George) Short, of DeSoto, MO;
a son, Bobby Wayne (Laura) Kleier, of Swansea, IL; a brother, Burnie Vinton (Eva) Kleier of Caseyville, IL;
eight grandchildren;
15 great-grandchildren;
and six great-great-grandchildren.

Inurnment with full military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
