
Wayne was a lifetime member of the SGT. Charles A. Fricke Post 805 VFW, O’Fallon, IL, and the Knights of Columbus, O’Fallon, IL. He was also former commander of Swansea VFW Post 5165. Wayne was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Armin and Elsie Mae, nee Hein, Rick; and a sister, Ruby Rick.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 30 years, Lynne, nee Harp, Rick; three sons, Timothy (Miranda) Rick, Todd (Stacy) Rick, and Michael Jr. (Nikki) Good; two daughters, Polly Good-Kupsky and Dianna (Mike) Duprey; 12 grandchildren, Nathan and Averlynn Rick, Samuel and Allan Rick, Jeffrey (Breanna) Good, Steven Good, Amanda (Michael) Rawlings, Baleigh Good, Addie and Kale Kupsky, Joel Duprey and Morgen Rick; four siblings, Mary (Bob) Gompers, Edward (Joy) Rick, Madonna Cooke, and Annice Eaves; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff at Cancer Care Center in O’Fallon, IL, and all of the other wonderful people that helped take care of Wayne.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Michael Good, Jr. officiating.
Burial with military honors will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
