Wayne A. Rumer, 79, of Belleville, IL, born August 29, 1942, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Wayne retired from Sears Service Center of after 17 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernhardt and Mabel, nee Seiffertt, Rumer;

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Carolyn L., nee Niemeier, Rumer, whom he married on May 25, 1973; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral:  Private graveside services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.

So sorry to here about Wayne. I enjoyed working with him at Don's. I knew him from his lawnmower shop and Curtis Industries.

Carolyn. My sympathy in the passing of Wayne. I remember him fro working on the Postal Scooyets and enjoyed working for and with him in his shop in Swansea. He was a great huy

Carolyn I'm so sorry for your loss. Wayne was one of the kindest, most generous men I ever worked with. I have many great memories from his years at Sears.

Sorry to hear about Wayne I worked with him in Belleville Sears and St. Louis had lots of fun at those summer pick nicks and also played lots of golf. He was a great guy and always had a great story.
