After serving four years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Mr. Healey was the office manager for IBM in East St. Louis, IL.
He retired to Naples, FL, for 20 years before returning to live in Belleville. He loved to paint and play the piano with his nieces and nephews, who often referred to him as “our favorite” Uncle Bill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Healey Sr. and Susan, nee Ambromich, Healey; and a sister, Evelyn J. Burniski.
Surviving are a sister and two brothers, June Kreuter of Palm Harbor, Florida,
Russell L. Healey of San Marcos, TX,
and Donald A. Healey of Belleville, IL;
and nine nieces and nephews, Judy Mason, Carolyn Dellamano,
Marianne Tegeler, William Burniski, Lynn Engers,
David O. Kreuter, Ray Healey, Sharon Howard, and Gregg Healey.
