William Jeffrey “Jeff” Williams, 50, of Collinsville, IL, born October 20, 1969, in Belleville, IL, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at his residence.

Jeff was a laborer having worked for many years for International Paper. He was a music lover and enjoyed rock concerts. He liked to ride motorcycles, watch horror movies and loved his dogs the “Boys”. But above all else, Jeff treasured time spent with family and friends, especially with his girls.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, nee Bittle, Williams; and his grandfather “Gramps”, Jesse James.

He is survived by two daughters, Courtney (James) Gardner,
and Aubrey Williams;
a granddaughter, Sophia;
his dear friend and mother of his girls, Tracey (Brad) Pedersen;
and numerous friends, cousins, and extended family, in Illinois and Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of Courtney Gardner or Aubrey Williams. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday, January 25, 2020, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A joint time to share memories for both Jeff and his grandpa, Jesse, will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 25, 2020, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Burial of cremains will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.

Jeff was the first person to welcome me to Weyerhaeuser. He was a great guy and I really enjoyed the times I worked with him. Although we lost touch after I left the plant, I always considered him a friend and will miss him.

I dont even know how to start. Jeff, a wonderful man with a loving heart and a great spirit. Anytime my husband or I needed him or needed help with something he was always there to lend a kind hand. I had that I didnt keep in contact better. Courtney, Aubrey, and Tracey, if u guys ever need anything Ty and I are and will always be here. Jeff u will be deeply missed. Rose and Ty and family ?

He was a good person. My 2 older children call him Uncle Jeff. He will be truly missed, love and prayers to his daughters.
