He loved the Beatles, Sushi (fully cooked), and chocolate. He loved to tease his daddy by playing hide and seek in his mommy’s belly. He gave us both plenty of kicks but saved most of them for his mommy.
He was a special boy meant to do exceptional things, future soccer player, chef, bookworm, mini trucker, animal advocate/lover, the possibilities were endless. Although his time on this earth was short, he left an indelible mark on so many lives.
He is survived by his parents, David and Jessica Newgent; his amazing grandparents, Steve and Jean Weier and Bill and Jill Newgent. His loving aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Dustin) Arends, Drew (Allison) Newgent, Jamie (Derek) Marin, Danny (Lisa) Newgent, Julie Weier, and Derek Newgent. He is also survived by his adoring cousins, Annabelle and Aubrey Arends.
His parents are so thankful for the love and support they have been surrounded with in the months leading up to his birth and have been blown away by the outpouring of love they have received since losing their little man. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Memorial Hospital East who will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We also extend our thanks and appreciation to Samantha McKinley with Impression Photographic, Renner Funeral Home and staff, Msgr. William McGhee of St. Augustine’s Parish, and all of our dear friends and coworkers.
